These storms are unexpected, unpredictable rushes of air called micro-bursts. They spread out along the ground and sweep along the desert landscape. They are usually a quick burst of high, very powerful winds lasting a few minutes up to an hour. The obvious dangers are loss of visibly, poor breathing conditions, unsafe driving conditions, lack of warning and flying debris.
