"Today we are working on a project, putting together twenty-five new vaults," Tom says as the bottom panel of the first vault is laid down.

The contents from any given loss that we have, we store at our warehouse, which is about 14000 square feet," Tom says. The vaults are also stackable allowing us to utilize the vertical space in the warehouse.

Proper record keeping is necessary to ensure every item returns to the property once we finish the restoration. With the vaults, it is easy for SERVPRO technicians to keep records of items and trace them later because items from one property or a section of the property are secured in a single location. "Each one of the individual customers will have the labeled tags of the vault," Tom elaborates the benefit vaults have on record keeping.

In addition to tagging vaults with belongings from one property, our SERVPRO technicians also take further steps to identify the contents in each vault. "We'll be able to inventory them with individual pictures of the contents inside," Tom expounds on how we achieve that. "This allows us to track and see if a customer wants to come view the contents, we can find them at any given time," he says.
